On Friday, November 1, Ms. IntVeld and Ms. Ebener will compete in a Lip Sync Battle in Kahler Auditorium during DC Time. The purpose of the competition is to raise money and food for the Student Hunger Drive. Students must bring either a can of food or a dollar to get in to the battle. Each teacher will perform one song, complete with backup dancers and choreography. The audience will be able to vote for their favorite at lunch for all of the following week. It costs a dollar to vote and the teacher who raises the most money by the end of the week will be declared the winner at the Hunger Drive Aud. The loser will be taped to a wall after the competition has finished.  “I’m going to kick IntVeld’s butt because I’m the returning winner from last year, so she’s going to have to have a really good performance,” says Ebener. Make sure to bring money and cans to help your favorite performance win!
