Central’s Variety Show is Coming Up!

Oliver Klipsch, Writer

Are you interested in watching Central students showcase their talent? Well, you’re in luck! Central high school will be holding a variety show on Wednesday, April 21 at 7:00 pm.

Worried about gathering in person? Don’t worry – the event will be all online. It will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03bEGkv__Ek

Acts from Central Students include singers, painters, comedians, musicians, and even Central’s Show Choir will be performing.

What makes this year’s show different from the others?

“Normally we have a live audience.  Sadly, with Covid, we are presenting it virtually as a viewing party on Youtube.  It is only a one time showing as it is live so it cannot be seen at another time other than at 7:00 pm on Wednesday the 21st.”

Why should students tune in to watch the show?

In an interview with Central teacher Thea Intveld, Ms. Intveld said, “The variety show is one of the few opportunities given to our student body to highlight their talents outside a classroom or athletic setting. The students who are in the show are displaying incredible skills and may not always be given the opportunity to show off their talent. That’s what makes this show so great.”

So, tune on in to watch fellow students shine on the 21st!
