As the school year comes to a close, the Yearbook staff celebrated their wins with a year-end banquet held on Friday, May 9th, in the cafeteria. Fun superlatives were voted on by the staff and awarded at the banquet to include “Rookie of the Year”, awarded to freshman Jensen Mier, “Best Photographer”: Ruby Klarkowski, “Best Writer”: Amelia Reier, and “Most Likely to Identify Someone”: Lola Skiles to name a few. Current editor-in-chiefs, Nazayda Bloch and Gabrielle Marceleno were awarded cords to wear at graduation, while many of the staff earned letters and pins. Editors for next year’s book were also announced: Ruby Klarkowski and Amelia Reier will be the new editor-in-chiefs, and Lola Skiles will be the co-editor. They all three look forward to surpassing this year’s book in many ways. If you see them in the halls, congratulate them and earn yourself a clue to the next round.
New year, new editors!
