This past weekend, the juniors and seniors, plus a few lucky underclassmen, enjoyed their Prom night and after party at TBK. It was truly a night to remember for all who attended. Whether it was being named Prom Queen and King, being the center of the dance circle, or breaking your front tooth in half during laser tag. Everyone had a different experience and gained new memories to look back on. For senior Ashley Laake, she falls under the broken tooth category. “Last year I broke my toe and now for my last dance my tooth was broken.” It is safe to say she does not have the best luck when it comes to school dances, but she still always looks forward to going every time. Our Prom King, Tristen Kern, and Queen, Victoria Randolph, were named at the dance. “Prom was so much fun, I loved being with all my friends, and winning Queen and King with my boyfriend was so awesome,” said Randolph. Now, for the dance itself, a good DJ or not, Central will show up and show out. Trey Gordon is known for bringing the energy and never leaving the dance floor for the entire 3-hour dance. “I love the feeling of being surrounded by people, all of us dancing with everything we’ve got and yelling and singing at the top of our lungs,” recalled senior Trey Gordon. School dances at Central are historically exhilarating and reminisced about for years to come. With the 2025 Prom night in the books, all we can do is look forward to the next.
